About Us

 

Rathlee Nursery School is an elegant Victorian building, situated on the leafy fringes of Taylor Park and set amidst tranquil gardens.

 

The nursery caters for children between the ages of 2 months and 5 years.

 

We strive to create a happy family atmosphere in a homely environment and the nursery has a respectful, harmonious ethos, with staff giving emphasis to the development of each child’s confidence and independence.

 

The personal aim of both staff and management at Rathlee is to maintain an excellent service in Childcare and Education.  We offer a friendly partnership between the staff and parents/carers whose child is entrusted in our care and we promise to mutually work towards the intellectual, physical, moral and spiritual development of each child.

 

The atmosphere at the nursery is extremely informal and a sound base from which knowledge can be acquired freely.  Relationships between the staff and the children are excellent, discipline being maintained with due sensitivity.  During their time at the nursery, the children are guided towards an awareness and deeper understanding of the important aspects of daily life.

Rathlee Nursery is registered with the local council and Ofsted.

 

Both the manager and staff work closely with OfSTED and always welcome them into our nursery.

 

Our nursery also works in partnership with the local education authority to provide funded pre-school places.
